What is mantrailing?
Mantrailing is a scentwork activity where dogs learn to follow a specific human scent trail.
Are your classes suitable for puppies?
Yes, we offer specialized puppy classes that focus on foundational skills and socialization in a fun and safe environment. Puppies are also welcome to take part in scent workshops.
How do I start with scent detection training?
Begin with our introductory classes or workshops where we teach the basics of scent detection, gradually building your dog’s skills.
What should I bring to a training session?
Can I attend classes with multiple dogs?
Yes, but we recommend bringing one dog per handler to ensure focused training and individual attention.
How long are your training sessions?
Classes are normally 60 minutes, 1:1s are 90 min. Mantrailing is a whole day activity and other workshops vary from 3-4 hrs.
What is tracking in scentwork?
Tracking involves teaching your dog to follow a trail on the ground which will consist of a scent plus the odours released by ground distubance.
